I spent 20 years camping at Pomperaug, I could walk the camp from one end to the other blindfolded. It's a little small but it's a fine place to spend a weekend or 500 :)

This Boy Scout camp to scout groups in 1998. In 1999 the Connecticut Yankee Council leased this property to The Connecticut Burns Care Foundation based in Milford, CT. Its new name is the Children's Burn Camp.

Here is a website from the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation, the new operators of the camp. I bet you can still do Eagle Scout Service Projects there. The camp is now called The Arthur C. Luf

Camp Pomperaug is still in fact owned by the Connecticut Yankee Council, BSA. The property was not sold to the burn foundation but rather has been leased to them. While our council owns the property the burn foundation has exclusive use of the facility and Scout units are not allowed to camp on the site during the lease.
