Buckskin Scout Reservation, a Nationally Accredited Camp, is 2,000 acres of woodlands and meadows in the mountains of Pocahontas County, West Virginia. The camp is operated by Buckskin Council, B.S.A., as the long-term camping facility for Boy Scouts each summer.

It has a beautiful lake for fishing, boating, canoeing, sailing and swimming. The Greenbrier River on the western edge of the camp affords great opportunities for troops to have an overnight adventure.

Deer, raccoons, squirrels, foxes, birds and other wildlife inhabit this beautiful and rustic site nestled in some of the most scenic hills and valleys in the eastern part of the United States. The camp features twenty campsites located in woodland settings, with two-man tents, modern shower facilities and a modern central dining hall.

Camp Buckskin is a wonderful experience. GREAT value, Excellent staff, great high adventure. I took my troop there in 2003 and 2007. We travel from Florida and love every minute at camp. Highly recomend this camp.

The future of this camp is in doubt as it is up for sale but it remains listed as of August 2019 as an open property on the council website. All buildings are closed and this should be regarded as a primitive use camp.
