    Camp Barksdale...

    Is 10 acres of forest and fun on Lake Superior, north on Highway 13, 2.5 miles from US Highway 2.

    Is a peaceful place to be in any season, winter spring summer or fall. The camp is quiet and has much to offer, including fishing, hiking, games, swimming, boating, canoeing and Scout skills. Twelve people can be accommodated in the cabin for Pack or Troop activities. Camping areas are available year-round for a real out-of-doors experience.

    Exists to provide Scout units, families and like-minded organizations the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities endorsed by the BSA.

    Is used extensively to accommodate many quality Scouting activities throughout the year. Scouting units are encouraged to utilize Camp Barksdale and take advantage of this beautiful property.

    Artisan water is located 4.1 miles North on Highway 13, from Camp Barksdale to Thompson West End Park in Washburn, WI or South 4.4 miles to Ashland.
