    Great location, plan ahead 3-4 months to book the campsite. Large open field. Can get very MUDDY! Do the historical trail. Reserve by phone the maps and the Eisenhower Estate. SAS-T79NJ

    Two historical hikes available - 3-miler around Culps/Cemetery Hills and a 9-miler that includes Little Round Top and the Pickett/Pettigrew/Trimble charge. Campsite is behind Confederate third day lines. Don't climb on the cannons or monuments, please! DJN, SM149VA

    Lottery system for camp slots. Great access to all Gettysburg has to offer. Cap areas are not shaded and things can get very warm in the summer. Highly recommend Spring or Fall for camping here.
