Nestled in the Lockwood Valley of northern Ventura County, near Mt. Piņos (34°44'00 N 119°08'20 W). The Ventura Co. Council, BSA, runs Camp Three Falls. We are usually open form mid-June through early August. We host both Webelos and Boy Scout Resident Camps. We pride ourselves on always have an excellent staff, which is typically made up of more than 50% returning members. For 3rd & 4th year campers, we have the Three Falls Trek which is an 18-mile, 3-day 2-night backpacking excursion where they will visit all three of the waterfalls for which Camp Three Falls is named, and summit Mt. Piņos. Scouts will also be able to earn several merit badges while on the trek. Campers are provided with wall tents and platforms. There is an indoor dining hall where food is served family style. Dude Camp Three falls kicks!
They have a cool staff, a hot grill, and a cold pool. Which is everything that you need for the summer. But; if you want more they also have:

    Whew!

    Man!
Camp three falls rocks! Right now they have the tallest climbing tower on this side of the mississippi, working on another COPE tower the same height, an awesome fort, their own personal lake, and some really cool staff. Every time I go there I feel LIke I'm way far away, in the middle of a secluded wilderness when I'm really only a few minutes from civilization! The best part is: every year I go there they have somthing new and Cool like next year I Heard their getting a museum in the fort, and the year after that is the huge COPE tower I talked about, and I heard a staff member say that eventually their gonna have a skate park!
I can't wait till next year!

5 of my son's Webelos II den attended Camp Three Falls this July 2009. It was an OUTSTANDING experience! As an adult and poarent I cannot say enough wonderful things about the leaders, counselors, organization, tents and cots, food, and activities! We've attended several Scout camps and this one was by far THE BEST! All the camp staff were enthusiastic, knowlegeable, kind and available for questions, help and great conversation! Would strongly recommend anyone to attend Camp Three Falls!

Camp Three Falls is alive and well in 2015. We are currently (June 24, 2015) wrapping up the first of three, half-week sessions of Webelos Resident Camp, which will be followed by three weeks of Boy Scout Camp. We may not be the biggest camp in California, but the quality of our program is top-notch...our staff is the best you're going to find...our food beats any camp I've ever been to (our Friday Night Deep Pit Barbeque during Boy Scout Camp is legendary)...and our Webelos Resident Camp gets rave reviews. Note that the prices above are far out of date. Visit the council web site at www.vccbsa.org for up-to-date information.
