Expeditionaries Prayer
My Lord:
Help me to find the strenght from the old oak tree
so no success makes me feel vane
The happiness from nature
so no lonelyness makes me feel bad
The freedom from a bird
to follow my own way
And the volition of the Expeditionary
To go always ahead, and serve to others
Amen. |

Ayudame a encontrar la fortaleza del viejo roble
para que ningun triunfo me envanezca
La alegria de la Naturaleza
para que ninguna soledad me abata
La libertad del ave
para seguir mi camino
Y la voluntad del expedicionario
para seguir siempre adelante y servir

A vigilant heart
so no vane thought keep me away from you
A noble heart
so no unworthy affection overcome me
A straight heart
so no evilness deviate it
A strong heart
so no passion may enslave it

May the flames raise to the sky
and along with them the hearts of the mortals
may the glow of its redhot coals
fill the world of love, light and happiness
and may the Lord bless tonight
to those gathered here around it. |
Antes de iniciar la Fogata:
Que las llamas se levanten hasta el cielo
y con ellas el corazon de los mortales
que el crepitar de sus candentes brasas
llenen al mundo de amor, luz y alegria
y que el Senor bendiga esta noche
a quienes estamos reunidos en torno a ella. |

whom no matter my weakness
has choose me as leader and guardian
of my Scouts brothers,
may my words and examples
light their way by the path of your law
may I show them your divine footstep
on the Nature you create,
teach them what I have to and
lead them from stage to stage
to You, My Lord,
at the campground of the joy and rest
where you have set your tent
and ours for the eternity.

Me has escogido como jefe y guardian
de mis hermanos Scouts
haz que mis palabras y mis ejemplos
iluminen su camino por el sendero de Tu
