Training

Do the following during the tenure used for this award:

  1. Attend a District Committee Training Workshop.
  2. Review The District manual and discuss your role with your operating committee chair, district chair, or district executive.
  3. Complete This Is Scouting training.

Tenure

Complete at least two years of registered tenure as a member of a district committee.
(Tenure for one award cannot be used for other training awards.)

Performance

Do the following during the tenure used for this award:

  1. Take part actively in at least six district committee meetings.
  2. Be a member of an operating committee that meets at least the Bronze level in a related Journey to Excellence objective in each year used for tenure.
  3. Participate in at least one additional supplemental or advanced training event at the council, area, region, or national level.
